After Great Britain, that was the time of Ireland. Edward Dunbar, with his solo arrival, won the Under 23 Tour of Flanders, 2nd Nations’ Cup’s Stage. The second at the final line was Tobias Foss from Norway and third the french Alexys Brunel.
In the Eikenberg, less that 16 km to the end of the race, Dunbar left alone the breakaway mates and arrived to the finish line in Oudenaarde, all alone. The others arrived 49” behind the leader and Jasper Philipsen beat the group in the final sprint. The first of the Italian, Paolo Baccio arrived just 4th, 1’14” behind the leader.

Next apointment with the Nations’ Cup will be on April the 14th and 5th in Netherlands with the ZLM Tour.
